A little further down from the village are the homes of many of the people who live in Hung Lau, some belong to wealthy clans and some to common folk who live happy lives even though some hate the Emperor and his family. The estates are quite big, but some also have simple small homes. Each are surrounded by high walls and two big wooden and iron gates to get inside.
